    I had a mortgage from Wellsfargo during the years of higher interest rates. I worked 5 jobs, 4 of which were 24hr shifts in the fire department(144hrs/ week). My credit was 750+. I needed to lighten the work load to spend time with my family (wife and 5 children). Chase had a great sales pitch and my refinance was applied thru them.     I am a homeowner with Chase holding the note. I am a senior citizen and a realtor and mainly exist on my social security. I paid $650 to chase to apply for a home loan, learning much later from them that they do not charge - and finally I was denied because I do not make enough money.     Started Mortgage Modification in August 2011. Downloaded information and sent in all of the papers they requested. As soon as they would receive my documents they would write back saying they hadn't received certain documents and requesting them again. I sent them over and over. Finally for the 5th time I sent the "hardship letter" by certified mail.     Chase is full of it...I applied for a modification and it was placed in the wrong dept. for over a year. I was denied after being hospitalized for over 6 months due to a complicated pregnancy where I was stuck in Miami, Fl.     I have been trying to get a loan modification from Chase for 14 months when my husband moved out of the home, leaving me to pay all of the bills.     My son is buying a short sale property that CHASE has a second lien. First they took three times as long as the primary to approve the loan. when his lender turned out to be a flake, he scrambled to find another lender, who whipped things together like magic.     I am a banker trying to refinance a customer and can't get a payoff from Chase....they gave my title gal 3 different numbers and then told me they would put a rush on and get it to me within an hour...didn't happen, so my closing will not happen again...I have been on the phone with 3 or 4 different people and to no avail....got cut off twice after being on hold for 5 or 10 minutes.     I refinanced my home last October. Chase Home Finance bought my loan after settlement. I had paid my Homeowners insurance out of pocket for the year, prior to closing on my loan. Since it wasn't up for renewal until November, Chase saw that it had a renewal date in November and paid for it again. This created a shortage in my escrow account.     My wife lost her Job in 2009 and she decided to make the biggest mistake of our lives, she applied for the Chase home modification program. She entered this program on a probationary basis.     Once in December 2010, Chase took two payments from my bank account. I called them they told me they couldn't put it back in there.   • Awful collections practices



    Most creditors wait until you are near or over 30 days on a bill before they call you. Not Chase. 4 or five days after the payment due date, they start calling several times a day to let you know you are late and to try and collect. Even after specifically asking them NOT to call my family members or in laws.     I have a mortgage with Chase bank and it looks like every other month or so they send me a letter in the mail that states I owe them double what my mortgage payment is.     I have my home loan through Chase. I have been applying for a loan modification for 2 years. I have turned my paperwork 27 times. After numerous phone calls that I made and resubmittals of the same documents I was put on the trial period payments commencing in June 2010.     I have been in the load process for almost 2 1/2 years. It started with CHASE losing my payment (2006)and then returning them back to me because they were not through certified funds? WHAT??     On October 15th, 2010 I made my mortgage payment to JP Chase Morgan on the website. On October 21 I discovered that they debited by checking account twice for $1,107.83 each.     I have been dealing with Chase since 05/09! Yes, that is right....1.5 years. Trying to get a loan mod.     I am at the point of complete despair with these people. I have been trying to modify my loan with this bank for over a year now and have just found out that my application was "Tossed" because of ONE document that I did not supply. I applied 4 years ago for a home modification to jump thru hoops and send form after form. Always Chase needed another mathmatical subdivision. Them Robert melody was transfered and my DECISION letter never came. ??Legal.

Again I have applied thry Chase ,Mr. Dennis Smith, and after 6 months of Forms being lost,faxes not received and so called underwriters needing the same form updated again and again.

I think the program is a bogus,scam. Makes me want to default.
WHERE ARE YOU MR. President. I thought the OBAMA regulations were to help. CHASE is laughing in your face. Circumventing your plan. PEOPLE/VOTERS are being lost because your plans are being tossed into the trash.

Chase HOME LOANS is a PAIN to try to work with. Their customer service reps provide inconsitent information, use multiple databases to look up customer info, and fail to compliment the knowledge of loan officers at banking centers.

My wife and I have never missed a payment, and always paid our property taxes on our own. Last year, Chase decided to pay our prop taxes and began an escrow acct under ouw name...without notifying us. We've been trying to resolve this matter for over 7 months, but every time we call we get different answers. The banking centers have no clue how to assists, so when we went to the bank, they had to call the customer svc center as well.

The process is screwed up, their IT systems don't talk to each other. I hope CHASE goes out of busines, or goes to hell.

HELP ME TAKE THEM OUT OF BUSINESS...NO ONE PERSON CAN DO IT ALONE, BUT UNITED, WE CAN CUT THEIR REVENUE AND PISS OFF THEIR SHAREHOLDERS.

I guess i received one of the worst treatment of all,at least all this people spoke with Chase instead i spoke with a chase customer service and his answer was:
you have more than 3 mortgage payments on your checking account i cant even talk to you and hung up on me GREAT!

i called chase to modify my current loan because i got layed-off.never missed a payment.they gave me their loan modification #.they wanted 3000.00 dollars and told me to skip 3-4 mortgage payments so i would qualify.these people have serious problems and should seek treatment.

Chase is trying to issue late charges on my mortgage even though I'm paying early and more than I actually owe. They say that they can not process a prepayment that is not in the full amount.

Chase has been giving me the runaround for 7 months asking repeatedly for the same information or reqiring information that is impossible to provide. Chase, is no doubt, making this tough to do intentionally.

Chase Home Finance has to pay for all that it has done to homeowners. Put the CEO and all its officers behind bars and see if they don't get their act together. They tooked the govt bailout money and has been duping homeowners ever since. Two hundred years ago these types would have been hanged in the gallows.

We too have gone through 12 months of hell trying to get a modification of our morgage with Chase-
they didn't help- they raised our payments...
I think the government should step in and investigate these crooks. They received money to modify the loans and they are not doing so. When is the frickin governement going to investigate this ? When we all loose our homes to Chase ?

If everyone will just stop paying then the banks will be forced to begin to address the complaints. Anyone with inside knowledge will tell you they have no motivation to abide by the Obama plan. There will have to be a wave of owners who can pay to just stop paying as this will cost the bank millions to their bottom line. Prices are down 70% in many areas and will take at least 14 years to recover to the pre-bubble stage. This will only happen in the area where there are jobs or where there will be population growth. Think Los Angeles.

I too hate chase. I lost a $4000.00 a month income and am now trying to live on $800.00 every two weeks. I have been sending to chase what I can each month. At least one payment. They keep hounding me on a daily basis. I have a non published number and they have even resorted to FRAUD by calling saying they are from Direct TV. and how ws my service . Just to get my home phone number. THEY ARE VERY SNEAKY PEOPLE.!! Awful !!

I've always paid my mortgage payments exactly on time! Those bastards had the NERVE to put a mark on my Experian credit report in RETALIATION for reporting them HERE!! They said my "payment issue for Jan.2010 is now resolved" well..um yeah..it was there damn online payment system that was broken!!! I had the confirmation number proof and called them on the phone I paid it on time those freaking #$%^holes!! they ruined my credit just for spite!!

I am a Louisiana Real Estate broker that has a clients listing under contract for almost 2 months now. The buyer chose Chase for his loan. BIG MISTAKE. The loan officer is rude and refused to communicate with me on the progress of the loan. Thinking that I will contact her supervisor to get answers, another MISTAKE. She was as bad as her subordinate....RUN don't walk from these people...if you want a home that is!

I see I'm not the only one having problems with Chase. I applied for a refinance on April 22, 2009 to lower my interest rate. Paid a $395 application fee. I have sent in documemts twice and have had 2 appraisals done, becasue Chese decided after 4 months, the original appraisal was no good because the appraiser was on a watch list. Every time I call I'm told the person I need to speak to isnt there. When I leave voice mail messages and send emails they are not returned. This has been going on for 6 months.

hey to everyone out there i've read all the complants and i've read all the complants and i just keep reliving my daily nightmares.we have been going though the mod. process forover 7 months resubmitting documents constantly.i called them 2 to 3 times a week to make sure they had all they needed.i always sent in everything every month to make sure. they always said they didn't get it(bull)because i got conformation they did .when i called it was a different sorry every time.i was told to make sure i was behind to make it go faster. so we did(which we nevwe did before)they said you will defenatly going to get this dont worry.everything you have read drom all these hard working people has happened to us and tons more.i called again 2 days after i just called a was told "YOU HAVE BEEN DENIED BECAUSE YOU DONT MAKE ENOUGH"i have always payed even with the loss of income "HOW IS WITH A LOWER PAYMENT I COULD'NT" they said that the bank puts a baloon payment at the end of your new 40 year loan and with what you make now you cant afford it"WHATS THAT ABOUT?)i said i'ts ok to loose my house then? she no you can just turn over the house to us,it's better then us taking it from you.they said it's not us it's obamas plan.i could have refinanced 7 months ago.bottm line chase is a crock as well as a crook.

I hate Chase!!!Like all of you, I faxed and overnight mailed the required documents to the Modification dept. I've been doing this since March 25, 2009. I keep getting requests for documents I've already sent at least twice. Meanwhile, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing or doesn't care because the Collections dept. CONSTANTLY harasses us. Morning, noon, night, 6 days a week - home, office, wherever. They're rude and nasty. In fact, the Arizona office (a jerk named Mark Fineout) even questioned my judgment and told me that my trial period plan that CHASE offered me didn't make sense to him and why on Earth would I agree to it! They call me 4-5 times a week even though I'm making my payments according to the "trial period plan" they put me on. Collections tells me that I didn't send in my Sept. modified payment on 9/1 as per the plan but I told them I didn't even know what the plan was because they didn't offer it to me until Sept. 4 so how could I be noncompliant with something I didn't even know about! It's tragic and fraudulent. It's depressing and there are days I just want to take to my bed and pull the covers over my head but my family needs me and I know that God will see me through. Even though Chase wants to break your spirits but DO NOT LET THEM BREAK YOU! We are all hardworking people that are doing the best that we can. Deal with the Special Lending Unit and tell Collections that you're working with the Modification Unit and that once they put you on a trial plan, you will mail in your payments. Believe me even if you call to make your payments THEY WILL STILL HARASS YOU so take back control and send your payment by snail mail. If you really prefer to phone in your payment, call them the day before to pay it by phone (fee should be waived.) You have to call the day before so that it will post by say the 15th because if you call on the 15th, they will post it on the 16th and add on another late fee! NEVER let them set you up on FastPay because they will automatically debit your account 1 day before the due date even though you tell them that the money won't be there until the due date. Best of luck all. I will keep all of us in my prayers, including Pres. Obama who tried to do an honorable thing only to have it degraded by Chase.

After 7 months of faxing documents after documents I was told I ddint qualify because fo insufficient income. Only found this out becasue i called and not because Chase notified me. I just dont understand I thought loan modification was to help those who could not pay for the loan... HELLO.........IF I MADE MORE MONEY I COULD PAY THE MORTGAGE!!!!!
